Sayuri Gayana: A Night of Soulful Celebration in Los Angeles

March 8, 2025 – Baldwin Park, CA

Presented by T&S Productions USA

Our 42nd production, Sayuri Gayana, brought together legends, rising stars, and an unforgettable audience for an evening of Sri Lankan music that moved hearts and lit up the Baldwin Park Performing Arts Center with thunderous applause and emotion.

From the moment doors opened at 1:00 PM, the energy was palpable. Families, longtime fans, and first-time attendees filled the venue — some dressed in traditional attire, others waving small Sri Lankan flags in anticipation. By showtime, the auditorium was completely packed, with not a single empty seat in sight.

The program began with the legendary T.M. Jayaratne, whose timeless voice brought instant stillness to the room. As he performed classics that have shaped generations of Sinhala music, many in the crowd could be seen quietly singing along — some even wiping away tears during his most emotional numbers. His presence alone was enough to make the night unforgettable.

Adding a modern spark to the lineup, Sanjeew Lonlyes delivered a high-energy, guitar-driven performance that had the younger crowd cheering and clapping to the rhythm. His effortless blend of classic influences and contemporary sound proved to be a perfect bridge between generations.

Rounding out the evening was the talented and radiant Anjalee Herath, who stunned the audience with her powerful vocals and natural stage charisma. Her renditions of newer Sinhala ballads captivated both old and new fans alike, leaving a lasting impression and drawing one of the biggest ovations of the night.

Throughout the event, the venue buzzed with excitement. The acoustics, lighting, and live band came together seamlessly, enhancing the performances without ever overshadowing the artists. From the front row to the back balcony, the joy in the room was undeniable — laughter, applause, and heartfelt reactions rippled through the crowd after every set.

Outside the theater, attendees mingled long after the final note. Many shared stories of how long they had waited to see these artists live in the U.S. Some even traveled from neighboring states just to be part of the experience.

Sayuri Gayana wasn’t just a concert — it was a celebration of culture, community, and the enduring magic of live performance. At T&S Productions USA, we are proud to have created yet another night to remember, and we thank every single attendee who made it so special.

We look forward to seeing you at our next show.
